5/19/26 TRAUMA: YOUR BOUNDARIES ARE IN YOUR CARE

I love it when the Lord gives me picture visions that portray His message. Often He will speak to us in a way that draws us to Him, to ponder and ask Him what is He saying? This keeps us from presumption in hearing something He might say and then taking that Word and running with it on our own, instead of relying on Him.

So this week I was re-reading rhema where something traumatic had happened. Since it was so many years ago, I read it objectively and reconsidered it all. Later I began to realize the trauma of that time was coming to the surface. My thoughts were going in circles and I felt stuck in the past. So here are the visions the Lord gave me. He wanted to give me a mirror to show me what I was doing and what I needed to do. As I pondered them I was able to “see” what He was saying to me, and His message became clear:

WINNOWING THE PAST SEASON

I saw dead leaves blowing and twirling up and down in the wind. Then I saw a lovely lady angel with a many colored Joseph skirt on. She was twirling in circles and thus the skirt was stirring up the brown, dead and crinkled leaves off the ground.

JOSEPH’S MANTLE: Genesis 37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors.

Twirling in a circle is the Hebrew word “to wait” on the Lord. I realized that for the whole week I found myself stuck in a myriad of thoughts, prayers and concerns regarding something that happened all those years ago! I realized that when people do not grow past trauma, they get stuck there and continue to circle until they finally are able to deal with it in a way that releases them.

Scripture tells us it is our FAITH that overcomes. I accepted that no matter what, God intervened back then in a much bigger way than I realized at the time. I saw it took quite some time, before, during and after the fact for His intervention to resolve what the enemy had tried to do. I could clearly see it all objectively for the first time!!! (Wow if there is ever a reason to journal, this was it.)

Trauma (which is the opposite of our faith) keeps us living in stuck emotions from the past. But when we see God’s intervention and His care before, during and after, FAITH sees His loving care! I felt myself release with amazement because my faith was able to see His involvement in a much bigger picture.

1 John 5:4 For whoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

Sometimes when we are living too close to a situation, we are not able to see the overall forest because of the trees. Sometimes we get lost in the trees and circle there until we finally find our way out. If we are relying on God, He will direct our paths and give us His light that brings us out.

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

BOUNDARIES FOR STRONG MEAT

I saw myself putting washi tape along the edge of the kitchen counter. I saw I was pouring an inch of strong coffee into raw hamburger, which is a strong meat wake up call.

Hebrews 5:13-14 For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

WASHI TAPE is used by artists to tape off the white space boundaries for their paintings. They paint right up to the border of the tape, then when it dries they peel away the tape and nice clean edges are left.

After re-reading about that time, I came to a decision about what went on spiritually. I saw how God had put clear boundaries on the enemy that he could not cross. I accepted God’s wake up call to live a holy life, consecrated to Him. I made a decree over my boundaries of faith and overcame the trauma of that time because I saw God through it all.

APRIL 2007 NEVILLE JOHNSON ENCOUNTER: HE CHOSE THE RAW MEAT DIRECTION

Neville saw that he was walking down a tree lined road, like a hedge on an English country road. Clear skies, warm day. The road went 2 ways, one to the right, one to the left. Where the road formed a V there was a village shop. A window of the shop went on either side of the shop. He started to walk in one direction and the window was filled with bottles of milk.

Then instead of the milk, he turned to go the other direction that window was filled of raw meat. The road began to get steeper and steeper. Finally at the top was a mountain. There was a castle at the top and he knew it was Mt Zion. He turned to look where he had come from and could see the tree lined road. He saw the road that went in the other direction was now in grey mist. On the top of the castle there was a light house with a beaming light. He met the Lord at the top of the mt.

1 Corinthians 3:1-2 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with solid food: for until now you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able.

HIS PUNCHLINE: GOD’S FINAL ANSWER

I saw the end of a pencil eraser and heard, Have you seen? Time to delete. It’s in your care sweet one. What you keep, stays.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord when we accept Your Sovereignty through strong meat wake up calls that bring us to You, we are given the ability to erase those emotional places where we feel stuck in our past. Thank You that You have given us the weapon of FAITH that overcomes all. You are an amazing God!!! Lord we choose to delete the uncertainty and the dread of traumatizing times in our lives. We accept how You knew ahead, prepared for it, protected during, then healed and recompensed afterward. The work You do in our lives is perfect, even in spiritual surgeries. We accept Your ways and know Your loving watch care over our lives. You truly do use everything in our lives for good.

Romans 8:27-30 And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

I was reminded of Joseph’s life where God gave Joseph His Word, and then performed it in a way that Joseph could have never realized before or even during. It was only after the fact when God’s whole plan came to fruition that Joseph realized the amazing Sovereignty of God and how He worked everything together for good.

Joseph said: “As for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about that many people should be kept alive, as they are this day.” ( Gen 50:20 AMP)
