CONFESSION OF SIN OPENS THE WAY TO THE LORD

10/01/23 CONFESSION OPENS THE WAY TO THE LORD

I have continued seeking the Lord on HOW to climb the hill of the Lord as in Psalm 24, which is the Psalm of the year..  The year of the OPEN DOOR.  It is important that we confess our sins to the Lord and ask for forgiveness if we want to go through His door into intimacy.

REVELATION: I had turned to this scripture where my eye landed on this:

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with my eye.

It was quickened to me to look it up in my Art Bible and read the entire Psalm, which is NLT. All these years I have read and quoted that scripture, but never read it in context! The context is all about not confessing one’s sin and being miserable, disciplined and dull like a donkey until it got too hard, and then the confession came. It is only after the confession and thus forgiveness that we receive the blessing of having him teach us the way we should go!

Hebrews 12:10-12 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them who are trained by it. 12 Therefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

DAILY VERSE: Psalm 32:1-11 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputes not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. 3 When I kept silence, my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long. 4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me: my strength is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. 5 I acknowledged my sin unto you, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah. 6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto you in a time when you may be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near unto him. 7 You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall surround me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. 8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with my eye. Be you not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, else they come not near unto you. 10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him. 11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, you righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart.

Notice there is a progression taking place in the Psalm:

Psalm32

FORGIVEN AND REDEEMED

I saw a woman on a donkey. She was traveling up a narrow mountain trail. She had a large bungee jumper cord attached to her so that she would not fall. The cord was hanging straight down from the sky. I saw I was given a coupon with the number 20 and the number 20 means REDEEMED and I heard I have forgiven you.

Psalm 103:2-4 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; 4 Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

1/01/08 JACOBS WARNING – IF YOU WANT RESCUED, REPENT

Why Lord? Because I said so. Did you want to see Me? Jacob’s heel wrestled with God. Soul power. The need to repent. I gave you 2 choices. So that it wont run off the page. Deliberate or without fault? I saw moisture that looked like tears that were smearing ink down a page.

You saved our lives. I saw an orange rescue boat in the ocean. There were angels sent to rescue people and there was only so much room on the boat. I heard an angel say, Repentance. A search party never gets in the way (of free will.) So that next time there is more room, repent. There was no more room in the boat and the angels only rescued some of the people.

Surgery in the making. It’s fair on all accounts. Justice and replacement parts. On their faces. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done. …Did you want to see Me? Jacob’s heel wrestled with God.  Walk with God and cooperate.

2/26/12 THE LASSO ANGEL

I saw a lightning flash and it revealed the cowboy lasso angel squatting down in a narrow place between a wall and a counter. He had been backed up into a corner. I was very concerned about this and got up and prayed over it.

Who can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. I saw 2 black stallions with 2 identical colts beside them. Have you ever been washed in the store room for 9 hours? Bloody but washed. I saw the cowboy holding the Texas long horn bulls by the horns. Repent. I tied the rope.

1/17/13 REPENTANCE SQUEAKY CLEAN

Each day I give you daily bread. I saw the color red. Wisdom. Humble yourself before your God and He shall raise you up. Repent. I hear your sorrow, I know your cycles. I wash you clean every time you request it. A liberal request is a liberal washing. Smile. Squeaky clean, each time a new start. Don’t give up, keep trying. I am turning you into My image. When you look into My face it changes you.

WORD TO PONDER:  WEAK AND GROANING? TRY CONFESSION 12/06/03

Are your bones aching, is your soul groaning and your energy waning? Try confessing your sins. Embracing compromise always causes spiritual blindness. Blind ones no longer abhor evil, nor turn away from it, nor weep over it. All men are blind in their own wisdom, therefore always acknowledge Me in this and I shall direct your ways.

As you fear your holy God, and depart from evil, this shall be health to your flesh and strength for your bones. Confess and turn from your compromise and hear My generous forgiveness with loving mercy. It is true, My good report makes your bones healthy. My pleasant Words are sweet to your soul and health to your bones.

Ps 32:3-6 NLT

When I refused to confess my sin, I was weak and miserable, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Therefore, let all the godly confess their rebellion to you while there is time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.
