Establishing Through 2 or 3 Witnesses

THE IMPORTANCE OF ESTABLISHING HIS WORD THROUGH 2 OR 3 WITNESSES

The following is a revelation I received about the fact that every Word in heaven and earth is established (stands, is set) through 2 or 3 witnesses. He downloaded me with the importance that heaven and earth must be in agreement, where He gathers 2 or 3 witnesses for EVERY WORD that He sends. Those three witnesses of His Word are through the spoken, written and living Word. And there must also be 2 or 3 witnesses among the realms of heaven, earth. And when we are witnesses of what we have seen and heard, we become weapons that destroy the demonic rule.

Our parts on earth are an important key to establishing His kingdom on earth. The heavens belong to God, but He has given the earth to the sons of men. Since the earth belongs to man, He awaits our agreement and willingness before He brings His own heavenly kingdom to earth.

Ps 115:16 NKJV

The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.

2 Cor 13:1-2 NKJV

This will be the third time I am coming to you. “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.”

RHEMA 11/07/06 THE WITNESS OF INTERCESSION ON EARTH

HEARD: How come I need to do this? Because it must be written down.

HEARD: I need a witness. I’ll make you a deal. You write. I will pray. And I will preach.

(This was in answer to prayer about my asking Him a few days earlier. I am a simple intercessor who, when the Lord tells me things, I write them down and hold onto them like Mary in my heart, waiting to see it manifested on earth. Most of the time, I also walk these things out in misc. parables that connect with His Words and have to stand against all the obstacles that oppose the Words I have heard. This kind of intercession is more of a walking and abiding place then it is verbalizing long prayers. These are intercessions I do not share with the public, and if I am led to, I share them through simple Words to Ponder, as the Holy Spirit leads.)

Matt 6:5-7 NKJV

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

SUDDEN REVELATION: As I was pondering God’s answer to my questions I had a burst of understanding that strongly hit my spirit. God birthed the world into existence by speaking His Word. Therefore birthing His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven must be by and through His Word. Every truth in heaven and earth must be established through 2 or 3 witnesses. That is a scriptural fact that all of heaven and earth abides by:

NT:2476 histemi (his’-tay-mee); a prolonged form of a primary stao (stah’-o) (of the same meaning, and used for it in certain tenses); to stand (transitively or intransitively), used in various applications (literally or figuratively):

KJV – abide, appoint, bring, continue, covenant, establish, hold up, lay, present, set (up), stanch, stand (by, forth, still, up). Compare NT:5087.

Deuteronomy 17:6-7 NKJV

Whoever is deserving of death shall be put to death on the testimony of two or three witnesses; he shall not be put to death on the testimony of one witness. The hands of the witnesses shall be the first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall put away the evil from among you.

Deuteronomy 19:15 NKJV

The Law Concerning Witnesses

“One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits; by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established.

Matthew 18:16 NKJV

But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’

John 8:17 NKJV

It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true.

THE WITNESS OF PRAYER BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH

Jesus intercedes for us continually in heaven, but He needs a second witness on earth to usher in the same. God needs two witnesses in heaven and earth to agree. He needs us to pray in agreement on earth so we are establishing His Word in earth’s domain. The second witness both in heaven and on earth is the Holy Spirit’s prayers.

Heb 7:23-25 NKJV

Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Romans 8:33-34 NLT

Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? Will God? No! He is the one who has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? Will Christ Jesus? No, for he is the one who died for us and was raised to life for us and is sitting at the place of highest honor next to God, pleading for us.

Romans 8:27 NKJV

Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Our Father in heaven,

On earth as it is in heaven.

Our Compassionate High Priest

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. NKJV

Hebrews 7:25

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; NKJV

1 John 2:1-2 NKJV

My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

There is a 3rd witness between heaven and earth as well. The cloud of witnesses and also the angels witness the power of prayer from heaven and earth.

We pray that His kingdom come on earth as it already is in heaven. Everything we do on earth comes into synch and alignment with heaven and this also lines up with the witnesses in heaven. In a divine dance between heaven and earth, God is bringing His kingdom on earth through His written and spoken Word.

THE THREE WITNESSES OF HIS WORD: Spoken, Written and Living

There are 3 witnesses of His Word: One is the spoken Word. The second is the written Word. These are the rhema and the logos Word both as witnesses in heaven and on earth. The rhema Word is like His still small voice, visions and daily leadings of His Spirit in our lives. The logos Word are the written scriptures in the Bible.

The third witness is the Word becoming flesh. Jesus was the Word and He became flesh and dwelt on earth. Likewise, we too are to be His Word: His love letters being read and known by all men.

John 1:14 NKJV

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

2 Cor 3:2-3 NKJV

You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

The various forms of these Words come through writing, praying, prophesying, declaring, living parables.

~ THE POWERFUL TESTIMONY OF BEING HIS WITNESSES ~

When God calls His people to testify on the witness stand, it is to stop the mouth of the accuser through the Word of their testimony (and through Jesus’ blood). Their personal experience of God’s Word in their lives reveals the manifold wisdom of God to the principalities and powers in the heavens. In the end, this causes satan to fall not only in his accusations but he must yield his place.

Eph 3:10-13 NKJV

…to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Job 1:6-11 NKJV

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. And the LORD said to Satan , “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” Then the LORD said to Satan , “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” So Satan answered the LORD and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”

Rev 12:10-11 NKJV

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Acts 22:14-15 NKJV

Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth. For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard.
