FRIENDSHIP WITH THE LORD

3/05/22 FRIENDSHIP WITH THE LORD

I was recovering from a shaking regarding my calling and identity in the Lord. I was feeling low and wondering about my rhema and why the Lord talked to me. Lord why do You talk to me?

I saw a massive gardenia descending upon me. It was the size of 2 king pillows and it draped upon me like a blanket. Gardenias are my favorite smelling flower.

Song 4:9-11 NLT

You have ravished my heart, my treasure, my bride. I am overcome by one glance of your eyes, by a single bead of your necklace. How sweet is your love, my treasure, my bride! How much better it is than wine! Your perfume is more fragrant than the richest of spices.

HEARD:  Because you listen. Because you care. My Words do have purpose. You will find them. The understanding comes from My Spirt of revelation. Yes [I speak] for your children. Yes for Me. Yes for you. Sometimes I talk just because I love you. Isnt that relationship? [Yes Lord it really is.]

This is so precious to me! Being so productive for so many years, I have mostly considered the purpose of the Words He gives me is for others. So for Him to talk to me just for relationship is really, really special.

What you don’t know, what really matters. There are battles and I use you for them. That is a part of My purpose, yes. And you have babies. Your milk helps them grow in faith and confidence. Character and warnings. Helping them align. Keeping them on track. Watching with you dear one. Teaching them how. You are everything I called you to be. Let Me remind you who you are. All things to all people. Who you were, who you are. I only add to that.

When unforeseen changes come to our life that affect the foundations of our calling, it shakes our identity in the Lord. Yes events do take place that affect our callings and how we walk them out. But it is really precious that the Lord said that HE ONLY ADDS to our callings, He doesn’t take away. Scripture says that His gifts and calling are irrevocable. He doesn’t repent or regret from giving them to us.

Rom 11:29 AMP For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]

1 Corinthians 9:19-23 For though I be free from all [men], yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. 20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; 21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. 22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all [men], that I might by all means save some. 23 And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with [you].

WOW ANSWER TO QUESTION!

I set myself today to listen to Mike Bickle interviewing Paul Cain. (This was before Paul fell into sin.) It only took an hour for the Lord to answer the above prayer! Mike had met Paul the first time and Mike asked him why the Lord talked to him, if Paul didn’t share everything to make a difference to people. Paul said, I asked the Lord the same thing and the only thing the Lord said was It is because I am His friend.

YOU ARE MY FRIEND

HEARD:  Various revelations all because I love you. That’s right sweet one. You ARE My friend. I heard the line on the song, the joy that we share as we tarry there. No other has ever known.

“He Walks With Me (In The Garden)”

I come to the garden alone

While the dew is still on the roses

And the voice I hear falling on my ear

The son of God discloses.

And he walks with me and he talks with me

And he tells me I am his own

And the joy we share as we tarry there

None other has ever known.

He speaks and the sound of his voice is so sweet

The birds hush their singing

And the melody that he gave to me

Within my heart is ringing.

And he walks with me and he talks with me

And he tells me I am his own

And the joy we share as we tarry there

None other has ever known.

I’d stay in the garden with him

Though the night around me is falling

But He bids me go through the voice of woe

His voice to me is calling…
