7/18/26 GROWING UP INTO THE FULL STATURE OF JESUS

HEARD AND SAW:

To know Him and power of His resurrection. I was taken up into the atmosphere and looked down upon the earth. I saw a large tree, it was so tall that the top of it was way up into the earth’s atmosphere where the planes fly.

I was reminded that our spirit man grows up into the full stature of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

VISIONS OF OUR SPIRIT MAN GROWING UP

1980’S: GROW PAST YOUR LIMITATIONS

I dreamed I was in grade school. We were given a piece of paper and asked to draw an evergreen tree. I drew a very teeny-tiny tree in comparison to what now seemed like a very large piece of paper. The teacher came over and looked at my tiny tree. Then she set up a ladder and a scroll of paper descending the ceiling and said, NOW fill that paper with your tree! I then saw a vision of a very large evergreen tree drawn on the very large paper.

WORD TO PONDER: I BUILD YOU UP WITH MY WORDS 3/17/98

I desire to build you beyond your present state. This can not happen without your cooperation. Widen your heart, increase your capacity to receive what I have to say.

You separate us by placing walls of smallness around yourself. You think that if I were to speak important Words to you or about you that this might build pride. But this is a lie of the enemy, desiring to keep you thwarted. He is very afraid of this hour for he knows that I AM building a mighty army, fully equipped with weapons of destruction. The enemy will do everything to keep your perspective small, fearful and full of defeat.

By way of comparison, if you were to draw a tree depicting what you consider your stature, you might think of a tall hedge or a fruit tree. But I say taller, and even taller still. Picture the strength, might and majesty of the tallest redwood trees, and then grow taller. The might and power of your spirit man can grow as tall as the tallest mountains. But I need your cooperation to receive the Words I speak into your life.

When I speak Words of courage and valor and bravery and might into your life, then swallow them. When I speak your calling, then receive it. When I say you have authority, than practice it . When I say you can pull down strongholds, then believe it. When I say you can move mountains, then accept it. This doesn’t happen overnight. It happens by steps and degrees of your willingness to believe and practice what I give in perfect increments.

What I AM building is an army that can face giants in the land. With the power and dominion of who they have become, this army will ultimately defeat those giants. They will grow to surpass all odds and all obstacles no matter how tall. For they have grown taller than the obstacles. They have chosen to believe My Words spoken over them. Believe it, when I say a mighty army, I mean a mighty army.

“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 4:2-3)

10/14/06 FUNNY: HOW BIG?

Last night at prayer meeting a lady asked me for a piece of paper. So I sheepishly tore a tiny 2×3” piece of paper off my notepad and handed it to her and asked her if she wanted a pen! She laughed and said she hesitated to see what she would get if she said yes!

On the way home from the meeting I was still chuckling about that and the Lord put it in my heart to bring her a huge piece of butcher paper tonight to church. So I unrolled a 3 x 5 foot of butcher paper and got my huge marking pen out. I asked Him what I was supposed to do with the paper and it was quickened to me to tape a tiny piece of torn paper at the top and write a question on it. And then I wrote in large letters the Word the Lord gave me plus I added a scripture at the bottom.

On the way to church, the Lord told me this was a corporate Word. So when I handed her the rolled up scroll, and told her it was a Word from the Lord to her, she asked, “How big is it?” Then she unrolled the scroll and read, “How big do you want it?”

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen , nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

1980’S: BLOWING OUT FIRES

In the 1980’s I had a vision of seeing tiny little houses in a fireplace. As a house would catch on fire, I would pick the house up in my hand and blow the fire out. I sensed this had to do with intercession and praying for people.

11/4/94: OUR SPIRIT MAN GROWS HUGE

Today I had been thinking about the 2 visions I’d had where I saw I was a huge giant walking through a neighborhood, like a watchman, only the houses were at my knees. In the second vision, the houses could fit into the palm of my hand, and I was blowing out fires that erupted from the roofs every so often. I wondered if my watchman abilities had grown that much and asked the Lord to confirm whether it was true.

CONFIRMATION: Today at the Christian supply store I read a little saying that some people have grown to twice the person they were, and the scales prove it!!!! (He is so funny!)

CONFIRMATION: Today I watched the movie “Honey I blew up the kid.” It was about a toddler who grew to be 5 stories tall, and they were trying to catch him before he hurt himself or others. Finally after unsuccessful attempts they decided to enlarge the Mother. She grew HUGE. It was very funny to me, as I saw the parable as she approached the helicopter that was trying to dart tranquilizer guns at her son. You could just see her one eye as she peered into the copter. She said very slowly and meaningful, “Back OFF!!” Then she grabbed it and put it down to earth. I was really enjoying the parable of how we grow up in Christ.

WORD TO PONDER: GROWING UP IN THE LORD 11/4/94

Your spirit man is growing from the inside out and you will one day grow so big that it will break all the yokes surrounding you.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” (Isa 10:27 KJV)

2/6/03 GOD IS INSIDE THE BOX!

I saw I was looking down upon the person that was inside of my body. It was a huge, gigantic Spirit and it was God! It seemed inconceivable that something so huge could fit inside of my body.

Col1:26-27NKJV

…the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

WORD TO PONDER I AM INSIDE YOUR BOX 2/6/03

Your box may be small, but I say that if you could peer down inside of you, you would be very surprised. For a gigantic Spirit dwells there, and it is Me! Surprise! Yes, it is inconceivable that I can fit inside your body. So relax and know that we are one and as you yield yourself to Me, we will reach the world together.

“But this precious treasure–this light and power that now shine within us–is held in perishable containers, that is, in our weak bodies. So everyone can see that our glorious power is from God and is not our own.” (2Co4:7NLT)

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1Jo4:4-5NKJV)

9/07/10 THE FULLNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

WAYNE’S VISION: He saw an angel brought him a pair boots. The boots were about 5 feet tall. He told Wayne to put the boots on and Wayne said, I could stand up inside one boot by itself. But as he put his feet in the boots, the angel said that he would grow into them. And as Wayne was watching, he began to grow in size until he could wear the boots. Now he was HUGE.

Eph 3:16-21 NKJV

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. WE ARE CREATED WITH 3 PARTS: SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY

1 Thess 5:23-24 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

Philem 25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Heb 4:12-13

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

When the Lord created Adam, He created him a living being. This Hebrew word has its roots in being a living breath. When a person dies and takes his last breath, it is his breath that literally leaves his body. That breath is our spirit.

Gen 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Zech 12:1-2 Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:

OUR SPIRIT BYPASSES OUR BRAINS

The spirit part of us – we do not remember, recall or understand with our intellect. We have been told to build and grow up our spirit man, yet because our spirit man bypasses our minds or realization of what is going on, we need to know how to build this part of our being.

1 Cor 14:2-3

For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.

1 Cor 14:14-15

For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.

NT:3563 UNDERSTANDING

nous (nooce); probably from the base of NT:1097; the intellect, i.e. mind (divine or human; in thought, feeling, or will); by implication meaning:

OUR SPIRITS ARE CONSTRUCTED AND BUILT UP LIKE A HOUSE

Wayne was raised up as a home builder and we built our own home when we were first married. Building a house has so many facets and stages; each stage of building is dependent upon the other stages being completed in chronological order. In the same fashion, our spirit man grows.

1 Peter 2:4-6

Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Acts 20:32

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

1 Cor 3:9-11

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Eph 2:20-22

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

HOW OUR SPIRIT GROWS

The following scriptures use this word, “edify” which means to be built up just like building a house, from the ground upwards.

NT:3618 TO EDIFY

oikodomeo (oy-kod-om-eh’-o); from the same as NT:3619; to be a house-builder, i.e. construct or (figuratively) confirm:

KJV – (be in) build (-er, -ing, up), edify, embolden.

SPEAKING IN TONGUES BUILDS US

1 Cor 14:4: He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself.

Jude 20-21 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

LOVE BUILDS US

1 Corinthians 8:1 Now concerning things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.

PROPHESY AND GOOD WORDS BUILDS US

1 Cor 14:3-4 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. 4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

DEATH TO SELF BRINGS INCREASE

John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

Colossians 3:3-4 For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.
