8/11/23 INCREASING SENSES / SENSITIVITY

AM DEVOTIONS

This morning during my devotions I heard: Abiding in Me. A canopy. You’re resting place. Treasures at your feet. Pick them up and examine them. A stopping place to ponder.

In hearing this, it came to me that He was going to quickened things to me today and I needed to take the time to stop and ponder them. He wants us to be sensitive to what He is highlighting as His message. They are like little treasures dropped at out feet.

Confirmation: My first stopping place: I swiped on my iPadMini to find a scripture and word turquoise from my note popped up. Yesterday I couldn’t remember how to spell turquoise and so I looked it up, copied and pasted it and that was what on my Notes screen. Then I realized today’s photo of the day was turquoise! Turquoise to me is a very special color, it is the color of the river running from His throne room and it represents absolutely purity.

Lord let my hearing be pure and transparent from You. Let it be crystal clear. Please grant me the mind of Christ.

Revelation 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

HEARD: You are finding Me in new ways? I am here for you Beloved. Even on this page, smile. [That is funny! I am trying out my software OneNote and doing my devotions in it, just to try it out. I am trying out the microphone to speak my devotions instead of typing them. It is fun looking at the page and seeing my voice typing!]

AT MY FEET ON MY WALK

Let’s try walking together. Can you hear Me?

So I got my clothes on and went for my morning walk instead of lingering in my chair for normal devotions.

Out the door for my walk: I was thinking about the dog poop I have been smelling on my walks and remembered how everywhere my feet walk, I am taking land and hopefully cleansing it. I remembered a dream I had the day before where I went into repentance for what is taking place in the streets of the world as it is a stench to the Lord. Then a couple minutes later I smelled how fresh it smelled next to our field.

Spoken into the microphone: Thank you Lord for the fresh air. It smells so clean! Wow now I can smell something sweet like sweet perfume! That is amazing. He has opened my sense of smell this morning. Thank You Lord.

HEIGHTENED SENSE OF HEARING: My music stopped playing in my earphones since I was using the itouch microphone and I suddenly heard someone’s air conditioner. It was quickened to me that the air conditioner was filtering the air and making it fresh for the house inside. Yesterday when I passed that house, their lawn system started spraying a very fine mist onto the grass and I was reminded of the refreshing times of the Lord.

Acts 3:19 Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

When I walked into the house I saw an envelope on the counter that said, We have hit a dry spell.

APPLICATION: The treasures He dropped at my feet this morning were on my walk! What was quickened to me as His message was that He is opening our sense to smell (to discern) and have a heightened sense of hearing right now. Even in hot, dry times He is wanting to refresh us after we repent for walking in or with the stench of this world.

So this was very precious that He allowed me to smell such sweetness this morning. First the fresh greenness of the field, and then a sweet perfume smell. He is answering our prayers to cleanse our little spot on this earth.

I feel this Word to Ponder is for this season:

OPENING YOUR SENSES TO KNOW MY WORD, MY WAY 10/02/21

Precious hearts, I am anointing a new season of speaking My Word to My people. The Words that I will speak will bring re-assurance after a long, dry and weary battle. I AM once again bringing My people back to life. They will stand not only with boldness to do My bidding in the area they are equipped, but also to do it with complete confidence and joy.

This season I AM shining My spotlight on your senses. I AM not only rekindling them to be sensitive to know My Word and how it applies, but also bringing the increase.

Listen to your heart, it knows the way. Listen to perceptions and inklings, they will be like little antennas sensing the wind. Your discernment gifts, I AM opening your sense of smell and you shall know the difference between good, evil and the soul. Your hearing gifts, I will open your hearing ears to surround sound. Your seeing gifts, I will open your eyes to notice even more detail and color. Take heed to the opening of your spiritual senses for they come with My specific purpose in this hour.

Ac 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ordinary men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
