8/30/22 KNOW YOUR AUTHORITY

SAW AND HEARD:

I saw a king with a scepter in his hand and it was standing upright on the floor. He bumped the floor with it one time and I heard, The authority to decree a thing. It shall be established. This is rule. To make commands and have them carried out.

Job 22:28 You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established for you: and the light shall shine upon your ways.

Those who do your bidding. You have angels assigned to you. They do your bidding. [Lord what about those prophets who say you do not command angels?]Its true you don’t, unless they are assigned to you. There, now you have it.

Psalm 103:19-22 The LORD has prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom rules over all. 20 Bless the LORD, you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. 21 Bless you the LORD, all you his hosts; you ministers of his, that do his pleasure. 22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

The key to your authority is staying under Mine. As you submit, then resist the devil. What you say “no” to matters.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?

Authority to remove. Exactly. The wind and the waves. [I was thinking about chaos and the angels fighting.]Referee. [Yes I can see that Lord, like the power to make a decision between 2 opposing teams, the angels and the demons. As I decree it looses the angels to break through the demonic.]

Mark 4:39-41 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 And he said unto them, Why are you so fearful? how is it that you have no faith? 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him.

Satan has a counterfeit authority. I saw a black and white line drawing. It was a night scene with a house overlooking the ocean and the full moon was shimmering brightly down upon the water. Yours trumps his.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The moon is the church.

Sharing the good news of the gospel. What is put into your care. What you wear for Me. I saw a blonde lady who had on a purple mantle. It came across her shoulders and it flowed down to the floor with a train behind her.

[Lord is there more about authority that You want to say?]Authority to forgive sins, you know that. Your authority to remove.

WORD TO PONDER: KNOW YOUR AUTHORITY 8/30/22

Beloveds if you have lost your peace and are impacted more from your circumstances than your abiding place in Me, then it is time to learn the authority I have given you. This authority is what I delegate to you, first from My Father, then to Me and now to you. To the degree that you submit to Me, being obedient to My Word in your words and deeds, you are given increasing authority. This is your promotion as you please Me.

First I have given you authority over your own life. You have the power to say no to your flesh, no to your soul, and no to the devil. As you submit and grow up in Me, the fruit of temperance comes into maturity. If you are given too much authority without temperance, it can kill you and kill others.

Next I have given you authority to forgive sins. My Word says that if you do not forgive others, your own sins will not be forgiven. Practice forgiveness dear ones, it is a vital foundation for your life and it’s safety.

I give you authority to speak, teach, pray and decree My Word. As you declare My Words, angels heed My Words and are dispatched with power and influence to make a difference. This is your privilege dear ones.

When you receive the Baptism of My Spirit, I give you authority to impart My Spirit so others may receive. At that time I also give you authority over the demonic world to drive out tormenting demons. They must obey you to the degree you know and obey Me.

As you grow in levels of maturity, I give authority to rule in leadership, authority to rule regions, to rule in the earth and over creation. In the last days I AM sending forth many sons who have fully grown into My image and they shall manifest the fullness of My authority in the earth.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.

WORD STUDY ON AUTHORITY

In the gospels it continually says Jesus was given both power and authority. Those are 2 different Greek words. It is very important to realize that many translations did not recognize the difference, and so they often translated the Greek word exousía as power when it should have been authority. When I discovered all the scriptures that should have read AUTHORITY the light turned on for me and the way I live my life.

POWER

This study is not about power, however the Greek word for power is dýnamis which is our foundation for the word dynamite. This is the supernatural ability for miracles over creation, like growing new body parts. It is supernatural creative power to restore that which is missing. Power is a gift of the Holy Spirit.

Authority is not a gift, it is delegated to us from the Father, through Jesus and to us. Authority is a ruling control to dispatch orders or assignments. As we grow up in our maturity to obey the Lord and scripture, our authority grows.

TYPES OF AUTHORITY IN THE GREEK NEW TESTAMENT

Authority is Delegated

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power [exousía authority] is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Mark 11:28 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?

John 19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power [exousía authority] [at all] against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Matthew 8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this [man], Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth [it].

Authority over Self

1 Corinthians 8:9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty [exousía authority] of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

1 Corinthians 9:4 Have we not power [exousía authority] to eat and to drink?

Authority to execute judgment

John 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Jesus had Authority to Die and Raise Again and Give Eternal Life

John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power [exousía authority] to lay it down, and I have power [exousía authority] to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

John 17:2 As thou hast given him power [exousía authority] over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

Jesus could have bid 10,000 angels to fight for Him. But instead He submitted His will to the Father’s will, having swallowed His cup.
