LIGHT AND EASY

8/05/25  LIGHT AND EASY

Last night I went to bed a little early and took my printed July rhema with me and turned to 7/11/25: What am I asking you to do? Right now. Not tomorrow. Not yesterday.

At that point, I immediately had a flash vision of my tiny watercolor pallet. It is business card size, 2×3 inches. Therefore it only holds a small amount of paint, perfect for light travel, but plenty equipped to create any color I need.

What came to me about that is we are not to be carrying yesterday’s sorrows or burdens and we are not to be carrying tomorrow’s cares. We are simply living with what is light and easy and portable to be able to abide in Jesus today.

Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for tomorrow: for tomorrow shall take thought of the things for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

DON’T WORRY ABOUT LIFE, JUST LIVE IT 4/17/08

Precious I have taught you that nothing in the world is stable. You are living in an unstable, fluctuating world. It is the sign of the times with rapid growth and rapid change. I have taught you that all will fail unless I hold it up. I alone must be your Source. Simply trust that I hold your future and your hope. I yet remain changeless and faithful, true and loving. I AM your beloved Father and I will take care of you, My child. Your faith is strong as you have learned how to lean on Me. You are doing fine. Don’t worry about life, just live it.

Lu 12:25-27 NKJV

And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Mt 6:33-34 NKJV

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Next, to my surprise when I went to the Word to Ponder website on my iphone this one popped up!

TAKE TIME TO CREATE

You who work hard and labor in your serving, remember to take quiet time to rest and play. Pick up your designing tools and enjoy creating. I will pour out My creative anointing upon you and give ideas as you ask. I take pleasure in giving you time out to play. Creativity is a wonderful therapy for all who are driven. Jump into the world of colors, balance and symmetry, negative and positive space. Enjoy bringing order out of chaos. Ponder how I too love these things as you reflect on what I have created.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
