Quickened Headlines

GOD SPEAKS THROUGH MEDIA HEADLINES

Often I have opened a newspaper or magazine and a headline jumps out at me because it is an allegory of something else the Lord is saying to my life at the moment.  For instance, I had been praying for two days that the Lord would speak to me via a headline so I could have an example for this book!  I knew He had spoken to me in my past as I glanced at headlines; I just had not written them down, being caught up in the reading instead.  (Sound familiar?)    Now, when I needed one to write about, my mind was blank.  So I prayed about it.

Then I decided that I would just look in the paper and not quit until one popped out at me.  (Was quickened.)  I sat down expecting it to take all day, and it took about two minutes.  This is the headline:  “Quick Rehydration Takes Lots of Liquid.”  Immediately I saw the allegory and was reminded of this scripture:  “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration [restitution KJ] of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.”  (Acts 3:19-21 NKJV)  That scripture means that after repentance comes the times of refreshment from the Lord.  The heavens are retaining (holding back) Jesus Christ’s second coming7 until the times of this restoration of all things takes place.

The word “restoration”8 in the Greek means restitution or restoration and it comes from a word meaning “reconstitute”9 (in health, home or organization – to restore again).  The word “reconstitute” in the dictionary10 means “to restore (a dried or condensed substance) to its full liquid form by adding water.”

RaisinHere ye, all raisins!  He is going to restore our dried out wrinkles by adding the rain of His Presence upon us!  Some synonyms for the word reconstitute are restoration, returning, restitution, recovery, repossession, reestablishment, replacement, and rebuilding.  Wouldn’t you say that is quite a list when you think about God doing some of those things in your life?

So the bottom line of the allegory of the headline,  “Quick Rehydration Takes Lots of Liquid” is;  the Lord will do a quick work in restoring His church.  To accomplish this, it is going to take a lot of the rain of His Presence.

MORE EXAMPLES OF QUICKENED HEADLINES

QUICKENED HEADLINE:  In the paper, it said “Could we use a rainbow or what?”

Rev 4:3 NKJV

And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.

QUICKENED HEADLINE:  Under a cloud.

I heard the Lord say, Anointed.  Rest.

Ex 16:9-10 NKJV

Now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud .

DIVINE SIGN: SEVEN NINES

The following was released from Associated Press:

QUICKENED HEADLINE:  Baby born at 9:09 on 9/9/09 weighs 9 lbs., 9 oz.

“Laughter erupted in hospital room when nurse announced significant digits.”

The Lord often uses the sign of a baby’s birth as a prophetic Word. I believe this is a sign that the Lord is saying:

1. It is the fullness of time.

2. Now is the potential for God’s people to grow into the fullness of Jesus Christ and to walk as He walked.

3. The Lord has been waiting for the fullness of time to bring forth the promises that many generations have longed for.

Eph 3:19-21 NKJV

…to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Eph 1:10 NKJV

…that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth – in Him.

Eph 4:13-14 NKJV

…till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

CONFIRMATION: When I told Wayne about this amazing sign and headline of the baby’s birth, he noted that there were 7 nines.

Seven means completion or fullness. This year we have witnessed the fullness of the revelations that many prophets have been incubating for years. They finally were released to share them as warnings. We also witnessed the revealing of the demonic plan of the antichrist to take away our Christian freedoms within government.

NAME OF THE BABY

The name of the baby born on 9/09/09 was Henry Michael.

Henry = Old English for Ruler of the Home

Michael = Old English for Who is like our God?

I feel the meaning of the names represents coming into maturity of being able to rule over one’s own spirit. We are told to come into maturity and the fullness of Jesus Christ.

Prov 25:28 NKJV

Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls.

Eph 4:13-15 NKJV

…till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ –

CONFIRMATION: TO SPILL THE BEANS

I wrote a fun word called, To Spill the Beans.   It is about sharing my testimony and it spilling out all over the place!  On the day that I wrote it, I looked at the flyer Wayne put on my desk. A headline said, “Testimonies.” Then another headline said, “If we are silent.”

I love God’s confirmations!  He is amazing!!
