STICKER FUN! GET HIS PERSPECTIVE
Today as I was flipping through a sticker book for today’s journal page, I heard You graduated as my eye landed on a sticker of a roof with a sky background. The angle of the camera must have been from below, looking up at a roof and sky. I smiled because last week I watched several tutorials on PERSPECTIVE and I practiced drawing roof lines for buildings.
This is His parable that He is wanting me to look up and have His way of thinking. The battle field is in my mind and how I “see” things.
Colossians 3:1-3 If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
GREEK: SET YOUR AFFECTIONS
Setting my affections on things above is to exercise what I entertain in my opinions, concerns and interest. The Greek word comes from a word meaning to reign in, carb, restrain.
WORD TO PONDER: BREAKING MINDSETS THAT LIMIT YOU 9/02/20
Dear ones, for years I have heard your prayers that you would receive breakthrough. Many gridlocks that need breakthrough have to do with the way you think. Your misaligned expectations, traumas, even your presumptions and opinions can stop you receiving what I want to give. Thinking incorrectly puts you on a path of unbelief and fear. Thinking My way, in alignment with My Words, opens your gateways for Me to set up circumstances for your breakthroughs.
When you find yourself facing a wall, pray for creative ideas of how to overcome it. Over, under, around or through, you can do this through Me. Align your thinking with Mine and try working at the issue from a different perspective. You will find there are always resolutions to every problem, when watered in prayer and thinking My way.
Pr 16:3 Commit your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts shall be established.
Isa 55:7-11 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
CONFIRMATION: As I studied the above verse, I saw the sticker graphic of the roof and sky was a picture of seeking what is above. The vanishing point / eye line was UP and only the peak of the roof and sky was visible in the graphic!
