ABIDE, CLING AND FAINT NOT

Abide

12/07/22 ABIDE, CLING AND FAINT NOT

The definition of words can really help make connections in our minds and our faith. Sometimes all it takes is a different use of the same word for the light bulb to turn on. I struggled to put a condensed Word to the following, so instead of just passing it by and not sharing. I have decided to share it with you in raw form and let you make your own connections.

Today I heard the Lord say, Second chances. Stay tuned. A reward is coming. You never gave up. You never quit. Seasons change and much was accomplished.

When I connected this with other rhema, I understood that one of my intercessions really was accomplished. I was having a hard time accepting this, because it didn’t turn out as I had personally hoped it would. Early this year all the fruitful harvest of that intercession was given to the Lord and He has used it for His purposes of multiplication as I died to self. He multiplies a good harvest when we die to our own self will.

As I pondered Him saying a reward was coming, immediately He brought this scripture to mind:

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

The word FAINT drew my attention and so I began to delve into that. I was so surprised that this connected to the same word LOOSE, where we bind and loose, and also when Jesus told the lady she was loosed from her infirmity. When I delved even deeper, I discovered the same word faint is also connected to the word divorce and letting go! I thought of how the Lord said when He came, would He find faith? In those days of delay, many will have given up, walked away and divorced themselves from the Words of God’s personal promises to them! Wow, Lord help us not to be weary and faint! Help us to HANG ON TO YOU AND YOUR WORD. You will perform exactly what You promised and in Your way and Your time!

FAINT: TO LOOSE, LET GO

Today I was looking up the word “faint not.” It was quickened to me that it might be the same word as Woman thou art LOOSED from thy infirmity. It IS! Then I saw it can also be connected with the word divorce, put off, put away.

Luke 13:12 And when Jesus saw her, he called [her to him], and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

Mark 11:5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

LEARNING TO ABIDE

This study reminded me that to ABIDE is to cling to Him, and not let go. When we believe Him, we don’t let go, don’t quit, don’t give up on Him or His Word!

12/19/22 ABIDING IS DRAWING FROM HIM

[Lord I need You.] You have Me. Simply rest and believe. It’s called abiding. Do you understand this? Abiding is a connection without letting go. You lean, yes. Its more than that. You draw from Me what you need, when you need it. Without detaching or being independent. A branch abides in the vine. Drawing out of Me yes. And I pour into you.

John 15:4-8 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. 6 If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples.

WORD TO PONDER: LEAN AND CLING 1/06/13

Dear ones, I understand you feel weak and outnumbered in circumstances you are facing. Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Like a vine clinging to a branch, that is how I want you to cling to Me. All your life nutrients are there for you and everything you need to flourish is provided. If you lean and cling to Me, I will support you, back you, and strengthen you to overcome all that you face. And that vine that produces so much fruit, it will be OUR fruit in all the places we partnered together. You are never alone dear ones!

Joh 15

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 ” I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
