COMFORT OTHERS AS YOU HAVE BEEN COMFORTED

7/13/25 COMFORT OTHERS AS YOU HAVE BEEN COMFORTED
I saw a lady draped over a lab doggie. She was completely being comforted by him being present for her. The dog was a doggie I saw the day before in a YouTube video about a couple who adopts abused dogs, heals their souls and trains their behavior and then adopts them to forever homes. When I realized this was the same doggie, I realized he had been healed from his past abuse, adopted and was now being used by God to comfort another, in the same way he had been comforted. I smiled as I remembered the following scripture.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them who are in any trouble, by the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted of God.
2Co 1:3-11 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. (4) He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (5) For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. (6) Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. (7) We are confident that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in the comfort God gives us. (8) We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. (9) In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. (10) And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us. (11) And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety.
WORD TO PONDER BATTLE SCARS TURN TO HERO BADGES 6/9/98
Even though the enemy has tried to dismantle a chosen generation of youth, he will not succeed. For authority and promotion belong to Me. I will heal the wounds and turn them to scars. These scars will become hero badges in the spirituals and I shall lay upon the heads and shoulders of those wounded, a crowning wreath of victory. Every scar shall become a promotion and authority to deliver and heal others of the same wounds. Great shall be the compassion of My heroes!
Psalm 75:6-7 For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7 But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another.
