1/03/23 GETTING OFF THE MERRY GO ROUND

HEARD AND SAW

Strengthening you. I saw a wooden pony that had been on a carousel; it was no longer on the merry go round.

One of the main battles I went through last fall and into winter was a battle in my thought life. It was coming from both demonic influence and unhealed soul issues that earnestly desired answers to things I wasn’t able to resolve. The Lord kept telling me to think with HIS mind and not dwell on the negative. It was like a tug of war of my mind going round and round the same problems without finding answers, and then after lots of prayer I would gain peace and then once again I was back in the same merry go round. I was so tired of this cycling and earnestly pressed through to gain the victory. During this time I had a vision of a lady riding her bike and it was weaving from the perfect center of her lane, over to the gutter, then back again to the center. I knew exactly what that meant! When we want answers from the Lord, we must not waver and halt between 2 opinions.

James 1:5-7 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.

One of the prayers I prayed is that the Lord would strengthen my will to resist the negative thoughts (which result in negative emotions). And I prayed that the meditations of my heart be pleasing to Him.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I don’t know if the Lord just had mercy on me, or I finally overcame the test or both, but I finally gained the victory of settling these things in HIM. No matter what the problem, He is the answer! He is the only source that can bring us resolutions. He gives us wisdom, knowledge, human and angelic help and it is only in Him that these help us overcome. When my mind would even start to go “there” I would say NO and give it right back to the Lord! I CHOSE to think about something else. I was given His grace to say NO and get off the merry go round.

1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Milk is for the carnal, fleshly temporary thinking and not for the spiritually mature that understands both good and evil and how to separate them. The flesh thinks now, the spirit thinks eternal. So which side does my soul choose?

What has the Lord said about the matter? Separate my emotions from the truth of what He says.

1/17/23 BENS DAVID’S WORD – THE SPINNING TURNTABLE

I saw a very badly scratched record spinning on a turntable, but it was stuck on a certain part, repeating itself over and over again. It was the sounds of depression and despair constantly playing with no break, no pause, no rest. The LORD is replacing it with a new record. The label read, “Zephaniah 3:17”

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God in the midst of you is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

God is removing old and broken mindsets that are constantly repeating failure and despair. The spirit of depression that has been plaguing your mind, will be replaced with a new song. The oil of gladness will replace mourning, a garment of praise will replace a spirit of despair. A new song will be heard within you. This music, this melody, this symphony will surround you, transforming not only you, but those around you.

5/20/14 MERRY GO ROUND

I saw a lineup of painted merry-go-round horses and they were off the merry-go-round and lined up on a sidewalk. They were rocking back and forth and wavering.

INTERP: Merry go rounds represent living a child’s life with the sense of movement, but it is moving in endless circles going nowhere. So this means some have gotten off the childish patterns of circular behavior and are making efforts to advance into maturity.

1/10/21 CHANGING PAST CHILDHOOD

Pay attention. I saw a little children’s merry-go-round with little train carts. Special assignment coming up. I’m changing you.

In England, it is not uncommon to see “wavy” brick walls. Interestingly, the design uses fewer bricks than a straight wall. A straight wall that is just one brick thick is not sturdy enough to stand alone & can be easily toppled, so they generally have a thickness of at least two or more layers of bricks, & are also reinforced at regular intervals with vertical posts serving as buttresses. But a wavy “one-brick” wall stands just fine on its own due to the arch support provided by its shape, which combines both wall & buttress. Such a structure is called a “crinkle crankle wall” “the Old English version of “zig zag.”

As I saw this brick wall it was so quickened to me about wavering thoughts (and thus emotions). God sometimes allows these type of attacks so that our wills to resist become FORTIFIED walls. What a wonderful gift that everything works together for good!

1/24/23: Fortified. We will set you into place. Establishing My daughter with strong faith.

Deuteronomy 3:5 All these cities were fortified with high walls, gates, and bars; besides unwalled towns a great many.

PRAYER: Lord whatever we are wrestling to overcome this season, we ask that You will fortify our wills to resist negative, hopeless thinking and expectations. Grant us grace to say NO to the devil’s influence and say NO to our own souls. We give what is not resolved into Your capable hands and give us peace to leave it there and be totally content to wait upon You, for only You are our salvation from all that assails us. Thank You that You are fortifying our wills in this season. In Jesus Name.
