GOOD SOIL TO PLANT GOOD SEEDS

4/04/24 GOOD SOIL TO PLANT GOOD SEEDS

APRIL 2024 GARDEN PARABLE

I began preparing my garden for spring plantings and when I opened up the large rubbermaid container I had dumped the old, hardened dirt and roots from last year’s plants into, I was really shocked. Evidently there was a worm population that had multiplied and they created a moist dark, fluffy and perfect compost over the winter! It was simply perfect planting soil.

The parable is that when we go through dark seasons that feel isolated and cold it is a humbling time like a worm! We feel like we are crawling around eating dirt. Yep we all know about that. The good news is that God is still producing something in our worm season!

Isaiah 41:13-15 For I the LORD your God will hold your right hand, saying unto you, Fear not; I will help you. 14 Fear not, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel; I will help you, says the LORD, and your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.15 Behold, I will make you a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: you shall thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shall make the hills like chaff.

In combination with the things He said to me this month about good soil, I believe He is saying that for those who are righteous, our worm season is OVER, our hearts are prepared and ready for new seeds that will produce new fruitfulness for our tomorrows.

4/04/24 HEARD AND SAW:

A season to rejoice. I saw the action of soil being tilled and ready to plant.

Isaiah 28:24-29 Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow? does he keep opening and breaking the clods of his ground? 25 When he has made level the face of it, does he not sow the dill, and scatter the cummin, and plant the wheat in rows and the barley and the spelt in their places? 26 For his God does instruct him aright, and does teach him. 27 For the dill is not threshed with a threshing sledge, neither is a cart wheel rolled over the cummin; but the dill is beaten out with a stick, and the cummin with a rod. 28 Bread grain is ground; therefore he will not forever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor crush it with his horsemen. 29 This also comes forth from the LORD of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.

Proverbs 28:19A He that tills his land shall have plenty of bread.

4/05/24 CONFIRMATION STICKER BOOK:

I opened my sticker book to add a sticker and my eye stopped and read this one:

To plant a garden is to hope for tomorrow

4/11/24 PREPARING THE GROUND FOR THE SEED OF HIS WORD

I saw that I was leveling out some garden dirt. I was filling in the dented parts and make the top layer smooth. The dirt was moist and good rich soil.

Isaiah 40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places smooth:

Matthew 13:8-9 But others fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. 9 Who has ears to hear, let him hear.

4/11/24 CONFIRMATION QWN NURTURING THE SEEDS

QUOTE FROM QWN MEMBER:  “Spiritual Seeds are being planted because of our sacrifice to the Lord by showing up in His presence and putting Him First. Everything begins as a seed. How we nurture that seed and tend to it and protect it from the weeds is our job. The Lord comes with the water and the sun to enhance the growth process. (Holy Spirit, and Son).”

4/06/24  SEEDS GALORE!

I saw I had a sack that looked to be about 10 pounds. It was opened and I was running my hands through all kinds of seeds! You have so much to look forward to dear one. Sent one. More is coming. I know you love seeds. It is My joy to care and watch over them too.

Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed in the good ground is he that hears the word, and understands it; who also bears fruit, and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

TO BE SENT AS A SEED 10/21/04

Sometimes I use you in veiled ways unknown.

And I send you to others as seeds sown.

Inspiring your talk as you bubble forth,

Seeds scatter and blow and land henceforth.

Your joy in sharing surpasses caring

On how the unnoticed seeds are fairing.

There comes a day when you look around

You see the seeds laying on the ground.

Do not despair as all appears dead.

Call out to Me, Master Gardener, instead.

They will be watered and nurtured with care,

They’re not abandoned because I AM there.

I wash them down, confirming all around.

I press them in growing faith that abounds.

Below the ground the soil remains tender

And the seed is planted from the sender.

Your Master Gardener is faithful to stay

Taking care of your seed, as you have prayed.

Each seed is coded to what is assigned.

It’s destined to bear fruit after its kind.

From the parent to child, the pattern repeats.

Harvest brings fruit, the circle is complete.

This is My mystery in planting My seeds.

Your life comes full circle with joy in deed.

So rejoice that your seeds are not really dead.

They’re fruitful to harvest, full of life instead.

Your basket will return multiplied and abundant,

As you gasp in wonder at what appeared redundant.

I AM the Life Giver and resurrect with power

All those minuscule seeds you gave in that hour.

And in the third day the hour grows late

From what was delayed meant to propagate.

It is My joy to announce in the sands of time

I have increased the pace to harvest what’s Mine.

Time is now set for the days of acceleration

Seeds sown bear fruit in speedy exhilaration.

Ge1:10-13NLT

Then God said, “Let the land burst forth with every sort of grass and seed-bearing plant. And let there be trees that grow seed-bearing fruit. The seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came.” And so it was. The land was filled with seed-bearing plants and trees, and their seeds produced plants and trees of like kind. And God saw that it was good. This all happened on the third day.

Am9:13AMP

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt [that is, everything heretofore barren and unfruitful shall overflow with spiritual blessing]. [Le26:5; Joe3:18.]

4/12/24 UPDATE QWN MEMBER NOTE:
“…There is a cicada invasion coming at the end of May from the state of Illinois to where I live in Tennessee. This year both the 17-year cycle cicadas AND the 13-year cycle cicadas will come out of the ground at the same time. It will be like a plague of locust for there will be millions of them times two.  This cycle actually works to loosen the soil and fertilize it from the inside out. It is important for the “breadbasket” of America to heal its over produced soil.”

============

My sense in adding the above quickened QWN note to this post, is that the righteous have gone through a winter season of eating worms and the Lord has been preparing our soil for a future and a hope of good crops to come in our lives.  But those in the world have yet to be plowed and broken ground and that will come.

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for [it is] time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
