LEAD ME FORWARD ON FIRM FOOTING

4/13/24 LEAD ME FORWARD ON FIRM FOOTING

Today I had a fun little answer to prayer. This morning I was trying out a new stencil my family got me for my birthday. I was focusing on the passage in Psalm 143 because I continually pray the Lord will close the demonic porthole and loose the warring angels to stand guard. I do this in prayer and also taking authority.

Psalm 143:8-12 Cause me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning; for in you do I trust: cause me to know the way in which I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto you. 9 Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies: I flee unto you to hide me. 10 Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. 11 Revive me, O LORD, for your name’s sake: for your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble. 12 And in your mercy cut off my enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am your servant.

I was particularly quickened to the NLT translation of verse 10:

Psa 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.

When I was done I thinking about what I was going to do next. I reached for Anna’s Bible, wondering how it would take the colors. I turned to this one and laughed at not only the verse but what was written in the margin! The Lord answered my prayer from last night! I had asked Him to please remind me to post yesterday’s Word when I woke up this morning! He was answering my prayer!

Nehemiah 6:16 And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard [thereof], and all the heathen that [were] about us saw [these things], they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God.

4/12/24 NEW SHOES

Reaching in to give you a new pair of shoes. Assured and confident, they will help you stand. The gospel of peace. Safe and secure no matter what.

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
