I was thinking about being disappointed and asking the Lord what He meant when He said to guard our heart.
HEARD: What you expect. 911. Guard your heart. How I give you peace. Beloved you DO pray and I listen. I will keep you stable dear one.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
WORD TO PONDER: LEARN TO GUARD YOUR HEART WHEN YOU LOVE 11/01/25
Dear one it is important to learn the wisdom of how to guard your heart when you love. Don’t let someone else’s behavior contaminate your own heart. When you nurture feelings and thoughts of bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, grief, sorrow, regret, shame and offense – they will creep in and poison your own life. Why? Because out of your heart comes the outflow of your own life.
As you learn this wisdom, you can love the best in others by modeling your own level of integrity. But when you become emotionally dependent on someone to live at your level of expectations, it can wound your heart and even your faith. Understand that not everyone is at the same level of maturity and all have sinned and fallen short of My glory. Many Christians who offend are like toddlers making messes and learning lessons as they grow. Learn to love them at their own level of maturity and keep your own heart unentangled.
Let no one take your crown dear one. Guard your faith and only lean on Me. It is better to trust in Me than to trust in Man. I AM your Helper. Do not fear what man can do to you. I AM the One Whom you can depend upon to always follow through. I will never change and will never ever leave nor forsake you and your needs.
Guarding your heart is like being on sentry duty standing against anything that defiles your thoughts, your choices and your feelings. How do you stand strong at the door of your heart? You learn to PRAY. When your thoughts, feelings and thus choices betray your peace, learn to STAND in prayer. Take these things seriously and pray over what rises within you. Confess what you have allowed to creep in that does not reflect My image. Give everything that has contaminated to Me. I will wash you and at the same time open the blind eyes of the offenders. I will help them come into My image, just as I am doing for you. I will keep your heart and mind as you learn to pray. Precious one, now let Me bathe you in My peace.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep (GUARD) your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
