THE JOY IN SIMPLE GIVING

10/26/25 THE JOY IN SIMPLE GIVING
I had a few experiences this month that really touched me and caused me to think about the joys in giving with simplicity. For me it happened when experiencing a true heart connection as I understood how much the gift meant to the recipient.
For me it also emphasized how the words “Thank you” are a precious gift all its own. When someone gives something and there is a gratefulness in the heart of the receiver, it is like completing a circle. The joy in giving is knowing that what you gave made a difference to someone. In simple terms, a thankful heart completes the circle of giving.
God created us to be givers. Sometimes we think our gifts are so simple, they wont make a difference. Then there are those who have so much to give, they are stifled not knowing what to give. Sometimes the giver doesn’t know who to give to. Sometimes a giver feels inadequate to meet the real need. In all those disconnects, it is then that we truly appreciate those divine setups when 2 hearts connect and the circle between giving and receiving is complete. Here are some of the examples I experienced this month.
10/18/25 THE JOY IN GIVING COMES IN DIFFERENT FORMS
This month as I was praying over giving I heard and saw the following:
Eliminating pressure. Simply be yourself dear one. I am your guiding light.
I saw a simple wooden table. I realized it was handmade and I saw a wooden chair at the table. Then I saw a man sitting at the table and he said, Eating plans. Where is my next meal?
Bringing you joy. It comes in all different forms beloved.
10/20/25: THE HOMELESS MAN
The above rhema came to pass. Today when grocery shopping, there was a homeless man standing on the sidewalk at the grocery store. He was very old and was using an old beat up cart to carry his things. I saw his tent poking out and a couple of stuffed garbage bags. It was very early in the morning and I knew he was hungry. I had great compassion for him and determined to get him something to eat. I bought a lunch for him and took it outside to him. His eyes filled with tears and his voice broke as he said Thank you!! I said, You are very welcome and God bless you today! He was deeply touched and kept saying God bless you back to me!! It gave me such pleasure to give to him and I thanked the Lord for the opportunity to give to him. I knew the whole thing was a precious set up from the Lord and it was God’s gift to us both.
10/24/25 A VERY PRECIOUS THANK YOU GIFT
Tonight when I went to bed, I heard Something nice for His bride. I saw a white sealed envelope being handed to me and I saw a salute of an angel. I wondered what the Lord’s message was going to be and I prayed over that and went to sleep.
In the middle of the night I saw I was standing outside on a castle walkway and looking outward through a merlon/ hole where watchmen stand to keep watch. Suddenly I saw an angel pop up in my window of view and look at me. I was so surprised as he said, Thank you for all your work! I was shocked and deeply touched.
Isaiah 21:5-6 Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, you princes, and anoint the shield. 6 For thus has the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he sees.
That simple exchange touched me SO much. I pondered how the watchmen of old stood at their posts all night and/or day, peering in the distance for any movement. They withstood the cold and heat, the dark of the night and the hot sun of the day as the hours passed by.
I spend a lot of my giving in night time ministry. Mostly I speak in tongues because the Lord has told me angels gather and wait for me to wake and turn over and begin speaking in tongues. Scripture tells us we speak in tongues of men and angels. (1 Cor 13:1) The reason why He gives us tongues of angels is because they LISTEN. It is spoken in their language for a reason. And sometimes if I see a vision I pray about it then loose the angels to go forth for the need. It is a heavenly ministry where I know what I see/ hear/pray makes a difference to angels and their ministry.
I also know that during the day as I process what I hear and see, angels stand by to listen for whatever purposes the Lord has arranged for them. When we do our part, they are able to do their part and together we accomplish the works of the Lord in the earth.
Gen 32:1 -2 AMP THEN JACOB went on his way, and God’s angels met him. When Jacob saw them, he said, This is God’s army! So he named that place Mahanaim [two armies].
THE CHAUFFEUR
Another gift that the Lord has given me is being a chauffeur. Throughout the years I have given rides to various family members, taking them to and fro. Mostly these rides are very simple but I have noticed how meaningful they are to me. Sometimes the car is filled with happy chatter, sometimes meaningful silence. Sometimes it is question and answer time. Precious moments of thank yous and I love yous. Always those simple times are precious to me, as they are a chance to connect with loved ones.
I don’t know if they realize their need for my chauffeuring is a gift to me. I am blessed to know that the simple gift of giving my time to chauffeur makes a difference to them, but most of all it makes such a difference to my need to connect with them. In those simple minutes of connecting to and fro, I always come home refreshed with my heart full for having given and received in such a simple way.
GOD HAS GIVEN EACH OF US GIFTS TO GIVE
1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
Scripture tells us God distributes all kinds of gifts, we don’t have the same gifts to give. In heaven, giving gifts is heaven’s economy. Heaven’s payment for giving to one another up there, is the joy of connection… they joy of creating, the joy of giving it away, and the joy of receiving. The act of giving and receiving is a precious expression of two hearts connecting with His love.
As for Paul’s gifts, he said it this way:
Romans 1:11-12 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end you may be established; 12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
In this new season of giving, consider asking the Lord what you have to give. Ask Him for more chances to share what you have. Ask Him for meaningful exchange and the joy of connection. Ask Him to be able to make a difference to someone else. Present yourself to Him as ready and willing, and then expect Him to set up those opportunities where you can say a thank you, or see a need and follow through to fill it. Ask Him for chances to give with a cheerful heart knowing you have participated with heaven to make a difference.
Jas 1:17 TPT Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.
