MAKING A GENUINE CONNECTION IN PRAYER

10/28/22 MAKING A GENUINE CONNECTION IN PRAYER

The Lord has been talking to me this year about coming into an enlarged authority and a new prayer assignment. This season He has been showing me what that is all about.

The word CONNECT has been a huge buzz word for me this year. It is that moment when His Word connects with me and my faith is activated into action. I keep attempting to describe it and wanting others to understand what I mean by using that word. It is symbolized by touch. One reaches out and touches and the other receives and the two connect. For me and the Lord, that is the moment when my faith is activated to move.

It is like the moment you turn on the lights and even though you cant see it, 2 wires were allowed to touch one another and activate something unseen in order for the lights to turn on. Well for me, there are different levels of connections with the Lord. Sometimes I hear Him and I am just faithfully scribing it because that is what I am supposed to do. My faith isn’t really activating, its kind of like brushing your teeth, you just do it.

Other times He says something and POW I realize the God of the Universe, the ALL Powerful One, the One Who is My Abba Daddy just said something to me that hit me between the eyes and straight into my heart. The connection happened when I KNEW and/or REALIZED He said something to me and it becomes a NOW kyros moment. My faith is activated at the moment when His heart and my heart connected… I understand, I received and embraced something from Him and He felt the satisfaction of knowing what He wanted to give me was totally received and implemented at that moment in time.

So I often pray for connection, that place where the two become one and they have connected in common purpose, understanding and reception. I ask for Him and His Word to connect with me. It’s where real life happens. It’s like starting a fire and the kindling sparks into flame.

This leads me to this mornings devotions. By the time Wayne woke up and came out into the living for the day, I was laughing with joy washing all over me. Here is what happened.

IN MY JOURNAL

I had 3 categories of things I felt led to pray over, with little lists underneath them. Then two items on those lists, I wrote out my prayer. One of them was what I saw last night, the other was my needs in order to walk into this new assignment. I then wrote a note to myself: This is what a watchman does. He sees what is coming and dispatches help that is either for or against what they saw and heard. Then I took authority over a few items on the list and I was wondering if this really made a difference, so once again I asked for CONFIRMATION and CONNECTION that what I just prayed made a difference, asking the Lord to forgive me since I wasn’t used to reaching so far with my prayers.

The Holy Spirit then brought into memory what the Lord told Bobby Conner: Prayer is an audience with the King!

I waited on the Lord to hear something and I heard one tiny word that helped me realize what I just prayed was in the metron I was praying into. But I still felt like I was fumbling the ball and I didn’t hear anything else.

I had a quickened eye glance to Anna’s Bible and so turned with anointed hands (at random) to. Blessed in the man whom you cause to approach You.

Psalm 65:4 Blessed is the man whom you choose, and cause to approach unto you, that he may dwell in your courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, even of your holy temple.

Immediately Queen Esther came to mind, where she made the rational decision to approach and the king extended His scepter to her. I pondered Esther’s life as an intercessor on behalf of her people and how the King looked upon her with favor and how much the Lord favors us when we approach Him.

I then had a quickened eye glance to my Art Bible and so I opened it up with anointed hands. My eyes bugged out!!!! Oh my!!! Oh My!!! Here is what it opened to:

Esther 5:2 And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favor in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

Esther

Wow OK Lord, You heard my prayers about praying!!! You heard my request for a confirmation! You heard my request for divine connection where my faith is activated that You spoke! You even heard what I just prayed over!!! You want me to pray into that metron! I heard You, and You heard me. WE CONNECTED! My faith is alive and I am overjoyed!

CONNECTION: I never noticed that Esther reached out and touched the top of the sceptre!! There it was, the divine connection when the king reached out to draw her, and she stepped forward and they CONNECTED. The two of them touched the same scepter and they connected! She was received with favor, she understood and embraced that, so she had the courage to step forward and touch that place where they connected in communion together. They spoke with one another in His chambers… Intimacy, connection, communion; understanding and strategizing together. Simply Wow Lord.

Lord activate our faith that You hear us and You want us to KNOW You hear, that You want us to prayer and You want us to CONNECT with You in intimacy and understanding as we pray. In Jesus Name. HALLELUJAH!

Psalm 65:4 Blessed is the man whom you choose, and cause to approach unto you, that he may dwell in your courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, even of your holy temple.
