NOT MY WORKS (AND MESSES) BUT HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

8/05/26 NOT MY WORKS (AND MESSES) BUT HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
HEARD: You belong to Me sweet one. You are aligned properly. Your righteousness is not your own. I bought it for you. Imputed. It is a gift.
Romans 4:3-8 For what says the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that works is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that works not, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even as David also describes the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputes righteousness without works, 7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

verb
Sometimes it is hard to accept that we are aligned properly when we mess up and fail to make obedient choices that please the Lord. But when we repent of making unrighteous choices, He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from them. To walk in the fear of God is to know He has the power to lift our hedge with discipline or to mercifully erase our sins on His ledger in heaven. He alone makes us righteousness and it is through faith in Chris that we have His peace to be able to stand with full access to Him with no walls between us. Thank You Lord!!
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
WORD TO PONDER: FLAWLESS BECAUSE YOU BELIEVED ME 2/18/11
Dear heart, never browbeat yourself over past mistakes. I do not see you through your mistakes. If you confessed them to Me and asked forgiveness, I have blotted them out of your record. They are not recorded dear one. My love keeps no record of wrong.
I keep a record of your faith! When you believe Me, trust in My Word, lean on Me through difficult tests, I see your faith and it is numbered in your account as righteousness. You are flawless, in right standing with Me dear one. Believe that and let it wash your soul clean.
1 Corinthians 1:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ge 15:6 AMP And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God). [Ro 4:3,18-22; Ga 3:6; Jas 2:23.]
