EXAMPLE OF HOW TO USE THE SOAP METHOD OF BIBLE STUDY

– MARK 5

Scripture:

Mark 5:23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lies at the point of death: I pray you, come and lay your hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

Mark 5:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the crowd behind, and touched his garment.

Mark 5:29 And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that disease. Mark 5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that power had gone out of him, turned about in the crowd, and said, Who touched my clothes?

Mark 5:41 And he took the child by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Little girl, I say unto you, arise.

Observe – The power to heal is tangible. He touched and they touched. He felt and they felt. I don’t remember if Jesus EVER touched when He delivered. Rather, that is not power but authority. He spoke directly to the demons and commanded them with authority. He touched people with power when He healed.

Application: We are told to lay hands suddenly on no man, nor be partakers of their sins. But to keep ourselves pure. To partake means to share or distribute. It is quickened to me that this means to give and take or exchange! Demons!

1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands hastily on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep yourself pure.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for Your anointing that distributes Your tangible Presence. You are amazing. I love You Lord.

Lord I pray You will give me grace to dwell in Your tangible Presence.

• Your power dwells in Your Presence.
• Your love is Your tangible Presence.
• Your glory is Your tangible Presence.
