THE JOURNEY OF GOD’S SEED PLANTED WITHIN YOU

 ~ Being Born Again ~

7/10/09 DREAM: GOD’S SEED CANNOT DIE

I dreamed I was listening to a person who believed in the Lord late in life and is also overcoming cancer. He was worried about being saved and going to heaven. He said he didn’t even know if his parents had made it or not. I saw that his best friend on earth was listening to us, and that friend had the same late faith and was already in heaven.

I said to both of them, “I have a little story to tell you. Do you believe Jesus Christ was God’s Son and He died to save you from your sins?” They said “Yes.” I said, “Hold out your hand.” And so they held out their hands. I pantomimed holding something very, very tiny between my thumb and forefinger and I put one each into the palm of their hand. I said, “When you chose to believe, God planted a tiny germ seed, the size of a sperm into you. And that sperm was planted and destined to grow inside of you, just like a baby grows inside a womb. Even though you cant’s see it, its destiny is to grow up in God.”

1Pe 1:23-24 NKJV

Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

That dream was from God, explaining the process of being born again into God’s family. Greek is the original language of the Bible’s New Testament. The word for incorruptible in the Greek is ἄφθαρτος aphthartos, which is Strong’s 862.That word is translated as undecaying, incorruptible and immortal, which means the seed cannot die. God planted His sperm seed inside your spirit and now you are His child and you have eternal life.

1 John 5:11-13 And this is the witness, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.

When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior from your sins, you were born again and began a journey of working out what was planted into you as a little spiritual baby. God’s plan for you is to grow up into a perfect man, a fully mature adult which is what the Bible calls the stature of the fullness of Jesus Christ. A perfect man is like filling a cup of coffee all the way to the top where it cannot hold another drop. It is a complete measure or portion. What portion? That portion is the full maturity in age and size of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

Jesus spoke of this truth in the parable of the mustard seed being planted and becoming a huge tree. That is what happens to the little God seed inside of you. Your spirit will become so large, it will be like a huge tree.

Matthew 13:31-32 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

Not only are you destined to grow up in the full maturity of Jesus Christ, you are destined to look like Jesus. When you were born into God’s family, your destiny is to be shaped into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus was God’s firstborn among many yet to come in His family. This family is God’s family and His kids look like Him!

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

The process is like being shaped or molded like clay that is formed into a usable vessel. When the Master Potter begins His work in your life, He lovingly places His hands around you and begins the changing process of transformation. That lump of clay begins to spin on the table of life and takes a new shape.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Another way of saying this is like the parable of the butterfly. The above word transformed is the word for metamorphose (#3339) which is the same process a butterfly goes through. It begins as a small egg, and grows into a little caterpillar who does nothing but eat, growing bigger and Bigger and BIGGER. That is like when we are first born again and we begin to sup on the milk of God’s Word, the Bible. We are very hungry to learn as much about Him as we can.

In the right season, the caterpillar spins a cocoon and slowly is transformed inside. Its inside changes are hidden to the world outside. It quietly grows antennas and that is like when we are learning to hear God speak to us in the many ways He speaks. Slowly that cocoon that is hiding the caterpillar changes, becoming more and more transparent until one day the caterpillar breaks free from that hidden place! Only now it is no longer a caterpillar. It is fully changed into a new creature- a beautiful butterfly with wings to fly even high distances during migrations. You too will be seated in heavenly places and have fellowship with Jesus.

Attached is my booklet, Beautiful Butterfly. It shares the parables and mysteries of being transformed into Jesus image, which is God’s perfect will for you.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
