TO “SEE” HEAVEN

5/09/21 TO “SEE” HEAVEN – VERSE OF THE DAY

I subscribe to 3 different verses of the day.  I read and pondered the following.  I didn’t write down which subscription this came from, but I only wrote down verse 9 and pondered it.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.

PREPARE

Make ready, provide, put into readiness.

It made me kind of disheartened to think we haven’t heard or seen what the Lord has prepared for us and I wondered what that really meant, since I believe we DO see and hear things He has prepared for us, that we haven’t yet obtained.  I thought, well it must just be about heaven and things we don’t see yet.

Then I heard this:  To see as you do.  Heaven’s perspective.  [Lord that is my earnest desire to partner with heaven; 2 armies they are one.  Lord thank You for all the things You, Your angels and my loved ones do to prepare the way for me!]

CONFIRMATION

I am smiling at this confirmation.  I usually do my devotions in the quiet without my computer on, so I use my itouch to read the verse of the day and I only read verse 9 on my itouch.   Then when I went to type my rhema on the computer, I read the full passage adding verse 10, which says but it IS revealed to us by His Spirit!  I am touched as not only does it answer my yearning but also confirms what I heard, that I do see heaven’s perspective!

Lord thank You for Your Spirit that leads us and reveals to us Your amazing world of the Spirit!

10 But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.

FROM THE AMPLIFIED CLASSIC

(1Co 2:9)  But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]. [Isa_64:4; Isa_65:17]

(1Co 2:10)  Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny].

(1Co 2:11)  For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man’s thoughts except the man’s own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

(1Co 2:12)  Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God.

UPDATE:  Someone posted this photo of their doggie enjoying the sunset.  It was such a blessing to me.  Even heaven’s colors are radiating on the doggie!
