UPHILL CLIMB INTO INTIMACY WITH THE LORD

12/06/21 UPHILL CLIMB INTO INTIMACY WITH THE LORD

HEARD AND SAW:

No rushing, they are very tired. Commander in chief. I was in the Bible days and saw a young boy with dark hair about 12 years old. He was walking a donkey, leading him by the reigns. I knew He was Jesus. Jesus and His donkey were in front and setting the pace for a long entourage following behind. They were all slowly climbing up the hill of the Lord but no one was carrying burdens or luggage including the donkey. They were all dressed like in the Bible days and I wondered if I was actually there with them as I observed! Jesus had brown hair that was below His ears, but not to his shoulders.

Psalm 24:3-6 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek your face, O Jacob. Selah.

I really enjoyed praying into this vision and pondering what was quickened to me. As soon as I thought of the donkey I remembered the sons of Issachar being compared to donkeys bearing loads in manual labor as they served the people with understanding. And then I remembered how Jesus rode on a young donkey during His triumphant entry into the city. Donkeys are beast of burden that carry loads.

Ge 49:14-15 Issachar is a strong donkey crouching down between two burdens: 15 And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto forced labor.

Mark 11:2-3 And said unto them, Go your way into the village opposite you: and as soon as you are entered into it, you shall find a colt tied, on which never man sat; loose him, and bring him. 3 And if any man say unto you, Why do you this? say that the Lord has need of him; and immediately he will send him here.

Sometimes when we are pondering and dissecting His rhema Words, it helps to look at what is missing? In this case, the donkey was NOT carrying a load. No one in the line of followers were carrying loads. They were all slowly walking in single file behind Jesus and His donkey.

Matthew 11:29-30 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.

UP THE HILL OF THE LORD

I pondered where Jesus was going. He was leading them UP the hill of the Lord. Moses went up the mounting to meet with God. He spoke with the Father in His cloud. Jesus went up to the mountain to pray and seek His Father. This is generation that will seek to know Him face to face as they climb His holy hill. And in the last days, the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountain and people shall flow to the mountain of the Lord. The hill of the Lord definitely represents a climb against gravity in order to meet with the Father in close fellowship and special encounters.

Psalm 48:1-2 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. 2 Beautiful for elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Isaiah 2:2-3 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 40:9-11 O Zion, that brings good tidings, get you up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that brings good tidings, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! 10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. 11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Isaiah 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.

Micah 4:1-2 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth out of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

12/12/21 THE FATHER’S BUSINESS

Today I was thinking about the joy of a father having their son join the family business. Then the Holy Spirit brought back the memory of Jesus saying, I must be about My Father’s business.

I asked the Lord what was HIS business for this season?

HEARD: To walk with Me closely… Work load, heavy. She’s got more than enough. …She’s obeying Me and doing her very best and following through. I am helping her.

Lord relationship is Your business for me for this season? That’s all?

Yes sweet one, that’s all. That’s all that you can handle. Just keep up with Me and we’ll do this together. By learning to abide much will be accomplished this season. I will teach you.

12/13/21 VOLUNTEER

Volunteer. Who will go for Me? My daughter is following Me. That is all I have asked her to do.

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

WORD TO PONDER: VOLUNTEER CLIMB FOR DEEPER FELLOWSHIP 12/06/21

Thank you dear one for choosing to follow Me. Having left all behind, you carry nothing with you in order to follow Me into a new season. And yet you are concerned because you don’t know where I AM going, nor what you are supposed to do. I understand you don’t want to disappoint Me and you always want to finish what you began. It is always wise to consider the cost of following Me, dear one. And it is courageous to follow when you don’t know the outcome.

Due to the levels of opposition, suffering, and sacrifice in your past seasons, I am only asking you to be My friend as you follow Me. As you climb uphill towards increased fellowship, I am not asking any more of you. That is all you can handle right now dear one. Simply allow our journey together to be enough. I will teach you how to abide in Me on a deeper level and that will accomplish much this season. Together we will experience mutual joy of fellowship as we climb this holy hill of promised intimacy. You have learned that life with Me is more of a journey than a goal. Let’s walk together as friends and experience the joy of knowing one another.

Mark 10:28-31 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed you. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30 But he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

John 15:15-16 From now on I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

UPDATE:  I wondered why Jesus was just coming into his teen years (barmitzvah in this vision.  Many of my visions with people in them are role modelling the Word of the Lord.   I believe He was modeling that in order to grow up into adulthood we need to climb the hill of the Lord for increased intimacy with the Father.  (That is the Father’s business this season.)  I am also reminded of our being either 30, 60 or 100 fold fruit people, all based on the degree of our relationship with Him.  Growing into adulthood is all about bearing fruit.
