7/04/25 THE MARGINS IN YOUR LIFE

Recently just for fun, I have been experimenting with adding partial borders and then trying to paint inside and outside some of my paintings. As I was looking at some, my eyes were drawn to the borders. It was quickened to me that I liked seeing the extra white space surrounding some of them. [ ] The Lord interrupted my thoughts and I heard “Margins in your life.”

7/05/25 WOA OVERLOAD!!!

Oh, this is SO funny. Today I created a chart with lists of different ways the Lord speaks to me in my morning devotions, which is different than at night in bed. I was thinking it was a reminder list to help stir His gifts within me. By the time I finished the chart I realized it would take literally the whole day if I were to “do” everything on the list. But I thought it would be fun just to try walking through the prompts to see if the Lord would give me a message. By the time I had gone through 9 of them, I was exhausted just for the trying and decided I needed to go back to bed to finish my night’s sleep. I was frustrated because I had stopped just short of summarizing what He was saying. Never-the-less I took a short nap and woke up to this vision!!! I think I got His point!

I saw that I was looking at our living room wall. And I gasped and said, “What happened to the board????” On the wall was a massive bulletin board about 12 feet wide. The board was covered with a pile of sticky notes, each with little boxes to check when accomplished. The board was so heavy it had tilted down on the right side and was only hanging by one nail on the other side.

I heard, Try choosing one in each section. Its not quite so heavy that way. Remember these are IDEAS, not to-dos. I saw a kitty jump down off the table and there was a little kitty pillow for her to sit on. The pillow was covered in Scottish plaid, colored in deep forest green and red stripes. The pillow was just perfect for her size.

I pondered why He covered the pillow that way.

The color of deep forest green can represent being stuck in the forest where you cant see the forest through the trees, because there are WAY too much details.

If you have a simple theme of just one message you have more time and energy to go DEEPER into that one message and enjoy it more.
Yesterday I was watching an artist paint on YouTube. She loves to paint forest scenes. She was talking about how sometimes she suffers decision fatigue in choosing what to paint, so she asks her students to send her photos. So she chose a waterfall photo that was very heavy in details and greenery . She loves waterfalls, so instead of painting the whole photo, she just chose a square directly surrounding the falls. It turned out simple and lovely.

WATCH YOUR MARGINS 4/20/14

Beloved yes I do give you assignments to serve and help others. But it is important when you accomplish long range goals that you keep your daily life in balance. You already know it wont get done in one day or even a week. So learn to bring the complexity of the load into something simple and easy to manage from day to day. Fit it in without dropping things I have already asked you to maintain. When you schedule your life so full that you have no margins for the daily unexpected needs, then what should be a simple walk with Me becomes a burden. I have heard the cries of your heart and am moving you to a better place. Your load will be lighter and more balanced as you learn to be yoked with Me. Precious one, always remember my burden is light and my yoke is easy.

Pr 25:28He that has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Mt 11:28-30Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

RELIEF 7/02/18

Precious, continue to keep watch over the margins of your life. Do not become so busy that life becomes too complex. There is a relief in your soul when you take time to rest, to create, to work and to enjoy fellowship. If you feel the weight of bricks upon your shoulders, cast your burdens upon Me for I desire to be Your Source of contented peace and inner strength. Abundant life flows from Me. I give you pause and recreation as often as turn Your focus and Know Who I AM. It is My grace that carries you through your day. Ask Me for wisdom in each decision in which you spend yourself. Whatever relief you need, I will send it. Angels also stand by to attend to your needs. I come in many forms, simply call upon Me for relief.

TAKE TIME TO ENJOY YOUR DAY 8/13/20

Precious child, let go of the stress you are feeling. I understand you were knocked out of your resting place with having a busy season. There are so many issues pulling at your soul. Release all your struggles and give them to Me.

Are you content? Bring your life back to balance so that you can you enjoy each day. Whatever consumes your attention, if it leaves no margins to be able to enjoy simple pleasures, then step back and rearrange your boundaries. As you learn to stop and pause, and reflect on the moment, you will find so much refreshment throughout your day. I may be speaking to you or giving to you and you need room to receive it. What simple pleasure did you receive and enjoy today precious one? I want your life to be more abundant.

Ps 36:8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fullness of your house; and you shall make them drink of the river of your pleasures.
