RESURRECTION! STAND ON YOUR FEET!

4/05/26 RESURRECTION! STAND ON YOUR FEET!

Throughout the years of many trials and disappointments and overcoming them by faith, I have often heard Him say, “You landed on your feet.” Flying by faith is a time when you simply trust God when there is little to hold onto in the natural that tells you are OK! Flying is a time when what you held onto that was NOT God, suddenly shakes and in order to find peace, your faith takes you higher and you choose to trust Him instead. You soar above the circumstance and wait upon Him to resolve what was shaking down below.

Eventually the time comes when He brings you into a safe place and helps you to land on your feet. Landing on your feet does not necessarily say the circumstances have changed. But YOU changed. What once had a grip on you, no longer steals your peace. The entanglements on your soul, your body, your spirit are broken away and you are free to walk in love.

Yesterday I received some bad news and it was SO bad that I realized I had to go to bed to pray it through and find my peace. I surrendered all I was holding onto, back to the Lord and asked Him to help. Then a miracle happened. The person that told me the bad news had not interpreted the facts accurately. It was not near as bad as what appeared. It was one of those days that suddenly my peace got jilted and I had to run to God to find my peace, only to land a few hours later with all my feathers in place. Such is the life of being a Christian. Smiles.

4/05/26 YOU LANDED ON YOUR FEET

HEARD: Boots on the ground. Analysis. You landed on your feet. Upheaval is not My will for you. Yes you landed on your feet. Strong and steady. Planted. Rooted in Me. My daughter. You give Me pleasure. You will always land on your feet. I have ordained. It.

Hebrews 12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.

Today I thought of Jesus having overcome hell and landing on His feet on resurrection day. Jesus had defeated hell and overcome all its horrific stuff. Then He bursts forth in resurrection power and walks out of the tomb. You find Him among the flowers, deeply filling His lungs with such sweet aroma after the memory of smelling hell’s sulphur. Mary comes and discovers Him there.

If I had just overcome hell and all its trauma, I would have said MARY STOP IT! DON’T TOUCH ME!!! I just had a really bad hair day!!! But instead, Jesus is moved by Mary’s weeping. He seeks her out to comfort her and calls her name. Yes He had to restrain her touch, but He reached her with His longing to comfort her, His compassion and His Word of reassurance.

John 20:11-18 But Mary stood outside at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulcher, 12 And saw two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13 And they said unto her, Woman, why weep you? She said unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. 14 And when she had thus spoke, she turned back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said unto her, Woman, why do you weep? whom do you seek? She, supposing him to be the gardener, said unto him, Sir, if you have borne him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away. 16 Jesus said unto her, Mary. She turned, and said unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Teacher. 17 Jesus said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

To land on one’s feet means that faith has triumphed over all the bad stuff. It means that no matter what, we choose to trust God and know what He allows is for GOOD and He has a purpose for all He allows. Trusting God is embracing every part of Him, accepting Him and His Word for Who He says He is.

After suffering a bad trial, to land on one’s feet is forgiving Him for what He allowed. It is not accusing Him and turning our backs on Him. Trusting Him is not denying all the bad stuff happened. Rather, trusting Him understands that He has a very evil enemy that does everything to keep Him from His purposes. Therefore trusting Him is choosing to partner with God in helping He and His kingdom overcome that enemy.

Just like Jesus suffered, it isn’t easy. It isn’t without cost. It isn’t a rose garden without thorns. But Jesus overcame it all and He landed on His feet. He showed us the way beyond the grave of death to self. Jesus paved the way so that we too can land on our feet and walk out of our tombs with love and compassion.

Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

How grateful we are today that He is our resurrection and our life!

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
