Earlier today I was thinking about my personal future and wondered what was coming. It is SO precious to me that He hears my thoughts and then responds to them, even though I am not necessarily asking or expecting Him to answer.

HEARD: I have kept you for a purpose. Its hidden even to you sweet one. For the better good. Instinctual. What comes from within. It will come forth at the right time. Yes like a hinge person. Opening and closing doors in history. Might be only one Word. Spoken at the right time.

WORD TO PONDER: SETTING, OILING AND MOVING YOUR HINGES 9/15/05

I train and equip with every kind of circumstance to prepare all for their destiny. During those preparation years, I have a certain purpose in mind to use some people like a hinge to open or close a door. These doors are so vital and so important that all of history will be affected by their opening. I take every circumstance and weave it into the perfect training of the hinges, so when the day comes and I insert each hinge into place, they will be oiled to smoothly move doors open or shut.

These hinges on doors are like corner pieces to a puzzle which are important connecting pieces in turning corners. One’s entire life may be honed and sharpened and prepared to only say ONE sentence to the right person, and that one sentence is the arrow into the heart turning the other person in the right direction. That other person is a key person, holding opportunity in their hands. Because of his one turn, choices are made that affect all of history. Consider this, all of history turning and rotating from that one sentence.

There are many, like Esther who have been finely honed to be hinges in the doors of history. Much training and preparation has been completed, so that at the right time and in the right season, the right Word will be spoken to change the heart of one key person, who in turn will change history. In your placement before great men, pray that the Words from your mouth will be My plan. All of your life has been finely honed for such a time as this.

For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

HINGE INTERCESSORS

(2013 From my teaching on various types of intercessors)

Certain intercessors are like hinges in doors. Like Esther, Abigail, Joseph, etc these hinge intercessors have the power to pray a word, speak a word, make a request, or deposit a word that changes history. [ Es 5:7; 1Sa 25:33; Ge 41:46 ] Then based on that word from the hinge person, another who is at a crossroad and making a decision, chooses to open or close a door that brings about great change.

These hinge people, having been perfectly prepared through a set of events, are then supernaturally put into a position to either open or close a door of history. They may wait their whole lives to say just one phrase to the right person, who then makes a decision that changes history. Most of their intercessory authority comes through having yielded to God the preparation of their character.

NOTE: For many years I have used the term hinge people or hinge opportunities for a kyros moment. The Lord has spoken many times in my rhema about it. In the door hinge parable I have said that a person may be trained their entire life to be able to say the right thing at the right time, and in turn their one sentence is given to the right person and that person changes directions and thus changes HISTORY. So a tiny hinge on a door may appear to be very insignificant, but the hinge represents a potential huge crossroad.
